I really think that Kemper Stage in its class should have options to tune guitars with offsets setting so that one can tune Tom Anderson and other guitars with Buzz Feiten tuning systems. I think other modellers such as Fractal Audio and Line 6 have such features in lower priced products.
Customized tuner settings in Kemper

Tony Lo,
With respect, the Kemper tuner does allow for very easy tuning to altered/sweetened/offset tunings.
You just have to tune the string (or fret or harmonic) sharp or flat by the correct number of cents.

Awesome. I know there have been several requests for this.

yes, CK actually came in on one thread a while back and asked members exactly how they would want thos function to be configured and perform in practice so it looks like they are taking it seriously.

My feature request is to be able to set the unit tuner"globally" in half steps to be understood that way in all tuner aligned functions. Example, we tune 1/2 step down & when I hit the Kemper tuner, My E reads D#, A reads G# etc.. That's not so bad but gets confusing when using the harmonizer to match the key you're in or if you get knocked way out of tune. My old Digitech 1101 would let you do this so that when you hit your E string (which would be sounding a D#) it would read E and makes diatonic pitch shifting a breeze and tuning visuals easier to absorb. Kemper has tuner offsets, but not enough to be a half step. I never understood (unless you were playing with horns or something) why in the world you would need a tuner to be slightly offset. I used it ONCE in my life when I was matching a sax that was a bit out but other than that, the half step thing would be way more useful. I was really surprised that Kemper didn't have this as feature packed as it was. My 1101 from 2007 had this and I bet would be popular and fairly easy to implement..

May i add to this request a function that allows you to dial in the offsets like the Peterson, where you can dial in the amount of global cents sharp or flat and tune to it globally, along with Sweetened tunings.

CK has said in the not too distant past that he will add sweetened tunings at some point so it seems to be on the development list. I’ve no idea how far down the list it is though.

A question remains: How many offsets do we need?
6 for the open strings?
-
The offsets I'm referring to is simply the ability to set the baseline (such as A=440) +/-1-99 cents globally.
Sweetened tunings is another bag of badgers, but Sweetened GTR and BASS for starters.

You can already set the baseline although not by the full 99 cents. You can adjust the reference tone between 424hz and 456hz at the moment. I think that equates to +/-50 cents but could be wrong. In that case you can achieve a full semitone of change by going either up a 1/4 tone or down a 1/4 tone.

I was referring to the Buzz Feiten feature request.

For steel Guitarists 10 offsets for E9 and 10 offsets for C6 tunings
