If you have only one effect added to a foot switch and want to have it locked it adds what looks like an "on" white light to the second bank on the same foot switch. This is just a little confusing to the eye if you're not sure you turned something on or off and doesn't seem to be necessary.
"Lock" Light on foot switch

I think this is intended as a feature indicating, that the assigned module is locked. If a locked module is assigned, there can be no second assignment, consequently the right LEDs are idle.

I have been reading in the manual about this but I cannot seem to figure it out. What is the difference between locked on the Profiler and locked on the Remote? Can you lock/unlock from the remote? I have been trying to understand, but would appreciate some clarification.
Thanks

Can you lock/unlock from the remote?
no. but the remote indicates with a light that an fx is locked and therefor, as Burkhard already wrote in #2, there can be no second assignment to this foot switch.

Thanks, from the way I was reading the manual it sounded like you could lock or unlock from the Remote. Not sure that I would ever need to do that, but was curious anyway.
