Just so I understand. It's not possible for the Profiler to sync to external SPDIF? If so, how does that make sense?
No SPDIF external sync?

From the OS 7.5.0.18050 Public Beta now available thread
added: S/PDIF slave capability for classical PROFILER models manufactured since about 2019. New devices show option Auto/Internal in Output Section like Stage models do.
So check your manufacturing date and beta availability.

Just to make sure .... This only applies to classical PROFILER models. All Stages can sync to an external SPDIF clock.
If your PROFILER shows the option "Internal/Auto" in the Output Section, it can do it.

I've had my Kemper for a week, so I'm a noob. The DSP build date is March 30, 2020, so I guess that makes my Kemper powerrack modern enough? I can't easily see the difference between classical and "non-classical" Kemper.
Where in the output menu will I find the "internal/Auto" option?

Classical PROFILERs are Head, PowerHead, Rack and PowerRack - everything except Stage.
The option shows up on page Output AddOns at soft button 2 above the SPDIF Clock soft knob.
The information is in the Main Manual 7.5 by the way. Check page 103.

Thanks for clearing out the classical confusion, Burkhard .
No wonder I couldn't find it then. This is what my screen shows me. And I've added the details of this particular machine. I get a feeling that this unit is older than it appears. It also had an OS that was pre 7.3. Had to update using a USB stick. Anyone know what's going on here?

Ok, upon reading this thread again, I installed the Beta and the button showed up. Thanks!

Perfect!
