KEMPER AND BOSS RC505, PROBLEM OF FX LOOP

  • Hi everyone

    Thanks to reading this post

I got a Kemper Profiler and a Boss RC 505 looping pedal for my live performances and i got a problem about how we can keep the sound unchanged when the loop is close...

The order of my configuration is like this :

    1. Guitare > Input Front Kemper

    2. Direct Output/Send (Kemper) > Input L/Mono (Boss RC 505)

    3. Output L/Mono (Boss RC 505) > Return Input Kemper
    4. I use earmonitors so i put it from the headphone of the Kemper.

    I put to the « X » looping fx of the kemper a « Loop Mono »

So my problem is that :

When i’m recording the first loop with the rig 1 and close it, everything is ok. BUT, when i change for the rig 2 to oberdub, it’s change the sound of the first loop !!
I gone to the system menu and change the « Looper Loc » to Output or Input but it.s change nothing.

If someone has got solutions or ideas, i’m really interest !

    Thanks a lot

    Vincent

  • the Looper Location in System Menu relates to the Kemper’s own looping pedal not the FX Loop that has your Boss looper in it. Therefore, changing looper location has no effect on the problem you are having.

you can put the FX loop function in any Stomp slot (A - D) or FX slot (X - Rev). The position you place the FX Loop will change how it is affected by changing sounds.

  • Hello thanks to your anserws

i test to put the fx loop function in stomp but the sound is really horrible ...

Is a another solition exist ?

    Thanks
