Help with DI profiling. Resolved

I’ve tried to profile my Dual Rectifier twice. Both times it sounds very harsh. I’m following the manual verbatim. Please give me some tips.

I had a thought. Am I approaching this wrong? I want to make a profile to use live and I thought using DI was the way to do it because I am using my cabinet on stage.

I’ve not used that box. I suggest you edit the thread title in your first post, and add the name of the direct box. That way, someone familiar with it can offer some tips.

I solved the issue. I needed a 9v battery. It was supposed to be passive but the sound was horrible prior to using the battery.

Glad you solved it, but FYI: If it uses a battery it ain't passive :-).
