Digital crackling occurring when I use the rotary effect

Can't seem to dial it out and tbh I find it exists on some of the delays as well sometimes. Any help for this is much appreciated thanks.

No, the input stays on green, not sure what else it could be.

Not really, never had this issue with my GSP 1101. To be honest I'm pretty disappointed with the fx so far, they all sound pretty cheap to me.
