Nanoboot: Burn From usb

    Ciao ragazzi, oggi la macchina durante un aggiornamento si è bloccata e dopo un è comparso questo messaggio di errore:


    Nanoboot: Burn From USB

    Error: no usb drive inserted

    failed to update firmware


    Come posso risolvere ?

    Put the kaos.bin into the root of your usb stick (ie not in a folder)


    Put the usb into the kemper, and press the page < > buttons while the kemper starts up - it will then reinstall the firmware.

    This error message can be an indication of missing the interim step, when upgrading a classical PROFILER model from an OS older than 7.3 to current.


    In that case a cold start from USB memory stick - as described above - with the current OS is not sufficient. You need to cold start with OS 7.3.2 first. Afterwards you can perform a normal upgrade to current OS.


    If you stick to the two step upgrade process installing 7.3.2 first right from the beginning as described in all our documents, you should never be facing this situation! If you iown a Stage this whole matter doesn't touch you anyhow.
