Changing between STEREO and MONO (LIVE) in performance mode?

Hi All,

I was wondering if it were possible when playing a live venue to set up my Kemper Power Rack in Stereo and have the option per rig in performance mode to either only use mono and switch to Stereo for certain sections.

Example, if I want to have a panning effect but want the rhythm parts to remain mono (Through stage left or right) and Stereo (For parts I want to have go through both stage left and right) can I do this by setting it up per rig?

If so, what are the steps I need to do take to set this up, and how would I set it up with the front of house?

you can’t switch between stereo and mono on the fly. However, you can morph the location within the stereo field so could pan full left then pan dead centre then back to full left or right (or anywhere in between). You do it with the Panorama control in the rig menu.

So basically, I could set it up live in STEREO, then pan full left if stage left or right if stage right for any sections and per rig?

If you set the effects to Mono, You can set the Main Output Source to "Master Stereo". and use the Panorama Function in the Rig Menu to store each Performance Slot or Rig to your preferred position Left to Right.

That's what I do for messing around with the looper. I have a performance with 2 rhythm rigs panned L and R respectively, a transposed "bass" rig, and a stereo lead rig.
