I use many profiles from different companies and I have to say that no one satisfies me.
The guitars I use are all with very hot pickups. Currently I play over a Mesa Boogie Rectifier from Choptones and in combination with my guitars it sounds too heavy. When I slightly change the EQ it is not getting much better (gain e.g.).
the thing is, we play in C sharp tuning and in this case my idea is using a profile with less gain in general. So my thoughts to get a better sound like In flames, Paradise Lost etc.
which kind of Amps would you recommend? From which producer? For the practicing room and for live gigging when possible again.
