I have normally just changed the profile/rig comment to whatever the name of the pack was since I started with mostly M Britt profile packs and wanted to stay organized. Well, now I just have a folder for each of my different rig authors, so I'm wondering what you folks utilize the comment tag for. I'm thinking maybe genre would make the most sense? Or even just clean/crunch/heavy/lead etc? The tag I use the most is sorting by gain and then Amp Model and Amp Manufacturer. Just curious how everyone else makes use of the comment field. Thanks!

I’m curious too as I almost never use it but maybe I’m missing a trick.

I’m no expert but thus far have been using it to mention a song the profile might be good for or what guitar I was using if the profile sounds good. I don't do it for all profiles though and I do with I could also label which pack the profile came from.
In my most extreme comment example it might be:“[Song Name], Strat, position 4, vol 8, tone 6”
Usually for these I’ll also duplicate the profile as I’m likely tweaking it a little and then moving the duplicated profile into my Original Song folder or Cover song folder.
My most basic comment may be “solo” or “bright”.
