Hi all, is it possible to activate the looper of the Kemper Stage with an external footswitch or possibly a menu selection? For now, I'd like to assign an effect to the looper button, since I don't use the looper live, and then have the option of activating the looper with an external switch or through a menu when I'm at home. Thanks!

Hi, DadofaNinja,
Here's how I have switch 2 on my Profiler.
It says <not plugged> because I don't have the switch attached right now. I'm using a dual switch. You can toggle the looper mode on/off with a single switch with the action set to Looper Mode.
There's more information in the Kemper Manual.
Here's an excerpt.

Is it possible to activate the looper via midi command? (Sorry if this is in the manual)

By the way, there are three functions available for external switches related to Looper:
Looper Mode enters and leaves the looper mode of Remote and Stage, where buttons change their roles. If you don't own a Remote nor Stage, this function is useless for you.
Looper Start and Looper Stop reflect work as described in the manual. For these functions to work correctly it is important, that your external switch is momentary and has the correct polarity (normally open), which the PROFILER Switch has.

Hi, thanks for that. There's no way I would have worked out that programming by myself

Thanks all for the info!
