As far as I remember, there is low cut and high cut in OUTPUT section.
there is, but what would you set them as?
I don´t use global Hi and Lo cut, I use the "Studio EQ" per Rig when needed, as they all have
different "Issues" with harshness / fizzines ( Hi-Gain profiles ) I put it in "X" slot.
Somewhere between 6 to 9 kHz and around -5 dB when using FRFR speaker ......
Use your ears, and if it sounds good to you, then it sounds good to you
Cheers !
For global I set my output HPF 35hz and LPF 9khz. I play bass on my Kemper as well, that is why my HPF is set there. If you just play guitar only, maybe set the HPF around 80hz
I also still use the EQ in a slot sometimes to do further cuts to mimic a certain cabinet and refine other frequencies that need adjusted.
Hi Danielevansrocks , On page 5 of the Output button, I have Low cut at 80hz and high cut at 10,000hz. Just about removed all top end grit from my profiles, and allows me to use very gentle EQing. Start there. (I mainly use high-gain profiles).
