Effects Loop and External Input

    Hi gang new Kemper user here,

    I have a question that I think I know the answer to, but figured I would share it here in case someone has a solution I haven't thought of.


    Can you have an external effects loop connected and at the same time use the alternative input for a mono input from an iPad/iPhone.


    Basically I just want to have a looper in the effects loop of the Kemper, but also be able to use my iPhone to pump backing tracks through the Kemper/Kabinet. I mean I can disconnect the effects loop and connect the ipad, but if I can have both at the same time without disconnecting/reconnecting that would be cool.

    I'm a new user to ... that said, no I don't think you can use the effects loop while also using ipad, since it requires one of the effect loop inputs.


    That said, if your use-case is a looper, the kemper remote has a GREAT looper. So you should just use that!

    This is only possible with the PROFILER Stage models, which offer more inputs/outputs for such applications. You can for example use the Aux In and an effect loop at the same time.
