No fat Solo sound - Overdrive / Booster (Kemper Stage)

I've visited a friend an he uses a Fender Tube Amp + Overdrive/Boost pedal. The sound has blown me away. You really feel the pressure when he just hit one or two strings...Can you create such a sound with the Kemper or do you really need a tube amp to get it right?

It's there! The Kemper shines on lead guitar. I think that's it's strongest suit.

Another thing to do is boost your mids. I've always "seen" mids as you cut if you want your guitar in the background, and you boost if you want your guitar in the foreground. Sorry for computer slang.

You could make a direct profile of your mate's amp and run that through a Kabinet. Shouldn't sound all that different really.
