I have a couple of soft buttons that have lost their spring feeling. They still work OK, but not so easy to use. It's not worth the cost of sending back to Kemper for repair, so I'm curious if anyone else has had this problem and fixed it themselves.
Soft button spring repair - has anyone tried this at home?

That repair is going to depend entirely on how the button is constructed. That - and how far down you'd have to tear your KPA to access the button in the first place.
I've seen video and pictures of a rack with the cover off. I'm no pro, nor am I anything close to a stranger to taking complex things apart for repairs and getting them back together correctly. Zero chance I'd consider trying a non-factory authorized remedy without a detailed service manual. Like changing the brakes on my car....having done it (more than once) before, I've got the tools and knowledge.....but I'm paying the right person to do it. They're quicker, cleaner....and if the job isn't right I've got someone to go to.
