This is all personal preference and definitions of what people feel is good.
I have run a 4x12, FRFR ( similar to DXR10 but ironically in a wooden enclosure) and now run the Kabinet.
My personal view is:
1) Guitar cabs add too much colouration in my eyes, everything sounds the same BUT some people prefer the "thump" you get from them.
2) Wood vs plastic? Yes it has an effect but it's only part of the puzzle. You can;t say one cab is better because its wood ( and I know that's not quite what people meant here). You have to view the whole solution. The DXR is a great option. Is it the best or perfect? Nope.
3) FRFR is the most transparent, showing the benefits and flaws of the KPA.
4) Kabinet is a great option in between. Is it the magical answer to everything? Nope but for me the balance of sound, transparency, flexibility ( imprints) and size is pretty darn good.
