Getting balanced volume settings in each slot in performance mode...

  • How do I get volume levels equal across each slot in a given performance? In a performance where I am using 4-5 difference profiles, with varying volume levels, when I try to increase the volume in one slot, it increases all of the slots in that performance...what I am doing wrong???

  • Generally use amp volume to even out all your rigs. Then use rig volume to boost for specific purposes like solos. There are many other ways but this approach is solid.

AFAIK rig volume changes volume at the end of chain wheras amp volume changes it before fx. If you have some fx that are sensitive to volume there might be a significant change in sound.

True - but usually you don't.
