Not updgrading brand new Profiler from Mac OS

I am on a high powered Mac Mini (Big Sur 11.0.1) connected usb directly (an A -> C adapter but no hub) into the Mini to my brand new Profiler which is currently running 7.5.5.19870

I installed Rig Manager and have version Version 3.0.145 (16430) running. It sees my profiles (defaults only at this point) and lets me choose and favorite from the App.

The issue is that I expected the rig manager to update the OS on the Profiler automagically. I did a backup just in case it wanted to be sure I had a recent one.

I don't see any way to force it or even see the Profiler OS version from the Rig Manager.

Did I miss this in the docs?

All thoughts appreciated.

are you logged into your user account in the Rig Manager preferences? This is mandatory for the Rig Manager to access the webserver for updates.

And that's done it, thank you very much. I will suggest that this was in no way intuitive and that I presumed that the login was for Rig Exchange only.

Perhaps an addendum to the manual, (or it's just there and I missed it)>
