Midi TRS question - eventide micropitch pedal

    Hi, hopefully someone will be able to help me ?

    I've purchased an eventide micropitch pedal which i intend to use in the kemper effects loop and want to use midi to switch the patches for different rigs.

    I can buy a midi box but also eventide have said that you can switch patches via MIDI TRS, if your unit has the ability to.

    My question is does my powered toaster have this ability and if so how do I access it menu wise?

    A 5 pin DIN Midi cable only uses three of the pins and I have previously wired XLR cables to Midi connectors in wiring looms. So, at a guess they're saying you can use a TRS to 5 pin Midi plug cable, if wired correctly.

    Yes, all models can send MIDI. You’ll need to get (or make) a 5 pin MIDI to TRS cable.


    As chu says, MIDI only uses 3 of the 5 pins.


    Keep in mind, MIDI is only possible in Performance mode.
