Hi guys, I haven't tested my kemper stage other than once with a 100w alesis power amp through a cab in a jam session, question is, would using a real 100 w marshall amp / clean channel through a marshall 2x12 cab be a good idea? basically using the kemper as a floorboard through marshall as opposed to a pure clean power amp.

If you already have the Marshall, Using the Effects Return to connect to the Power Amp would be a much better option than connecting to the Guitar Input.

If you turn off the Amp and Cabinet sections, you can use the Profiler like a Multi-effects processor.

So what you are saying is all the high gain amp profiles are rendered useless and I must rely on the fuzz box stuff in effects to get gain in conjunction with amps mmaster/preamp?

Since you already have the Marshall, give it a try. The Input of the Marshall is not designed for a full-range Line Input. It is designed for a guitar level, guitar-range input. But, if you can get the Profiled amps to sound good into the amp with the Master Volume up, and the Preamp Channel down, by adjusting the Marshall's EQ, go for it!

Thank you, that is what I am hoping could be useful? Just wasn't sure about line level like you were talking about.

The only way to know for sure is to turn down the Output of the Profiler, and try it. If you use the Monitor Output of the Profiler,, you could also use the Monitor Output EQ without affecting the sound of the Mai Outputs.

I suggest turning the Monitor Output all the way down, and turning it up slowly.
