Bass profiles too hot for interface?

When using a bass profile and transpose with a guitar, I have to turn my interface gain knobs to Zero to keep the signal from clipping. When using a guitar profile, my interface gain knobs are at about 25% with plenty headroom before clipping, and I can go to a least 40% using hot pickups without a problem. Is this normal for the bass profiles to clip so easily?

My Clean and Dist sens are at Zero.
