I run my Kemper Powered Cabinet (connected to the Stage) right next to my 40w Roland Jazz Chorus Amp. At home the JC can barely run at 2 as the Kemper is all maxed out but still not as loud as the JC at 2. The Cabinet is connected to the Monitor out (set to mono). I have been through the Output settings at the Stage adjusting the various setting but still pretty quite. Connecting the Stage to my Monitors it is much louder. Any thoughts on how to unleash the beast? Thanks in advance.
Kemper Powered Cabinet seems to be quiet compared to 40w Jazz Chorus Amp

In the output settings of the Profiler you can add +12 dB in the poweramp boost menu.

Hi Ingolf,
thanks for your reply. The power amp boost i have tried but still I have the impression that for a 200 W power amp the Cabinet is not really delivering (compared to the also solid state JC40 ). I am mainly using the MB-Little Queen as a profile. Any idea if this is maybe an especially quite profile (if any such thing exists)?

Are you connecting to the front inputs or the effects return of the JC?
-
There is no way a maxed out Kabinet (200 watts peak) is going to be more quiet than 20% volume of a 40 watt Jazz Chorus. Something has to be wrong.
-
Is the pot at the front of the Power Kabinet cranked up?
And have you enabled Kemper Kone functionality int he Output Section?
-
Turn up the Monitor Volume in Output Section too?

sorry for the misunderstanding. The JC I only use for comparison. The setup is as follows: Kemper stage into a powered Kemper Cabinet.

the pot is all cranked up ( seems to be non-linear, though). I have Kemper Cone functionality enabled in the output section.

monitor output volume is at 0.0 dB (max).

that’s what I figured. But what ??

Power Boost parameter.

... and you have not by accident cranked down a volume pedal!?
-
I have a Camplifier 180 (2x90w) and with the Amp Power Boost at around 75% the Kabinet is very loud. More than enough to keep up with a loud drummer with headroom to spare.
Something is wrong.

good point - checked, no!

I just plugged in my guitar straight into the Kabinet, turned up the volume all the way - and could easily talk to my family across two rooms. Does anybody have tried this and can share his/her experience with me. Thanks!

This appears to be normal as the input of the Power Kabinet needs to be driven by a Line Level Signal.
