The Diezel VH4 is a 4 channel amp - each channel sounds different.

    1-Clean
    2-Crunch (British)
    3-Heavy
    4-Lead

Each channel has Bass, Mid, Treble and Gain knobs (in addition a channel volume knobs - which does not change the sound).
Channel 1 and 2 have an additional bright switch.
And then there is a global deep and presence knob.

The DZL pack includes profiles from all channels, with and without the bright switch, flat and with presence boosted.

  • The sans amp is famous for the Rammstein sound.

This sans amp is from a friend of mine who plays blues(!)

Is this possible with a sans amp?
    Yes!

  • btw. this set of profiles uses the same amp as Pack4.

I reprofiled this amp after I got my new Gibson LesPauls and found the old profiles to dark and lifeless for a humbucker guitar.

The differences between Pack4 and Pack32 are this:

    1) Speaker
For Pack4 I profiled the inbuilt 2x12" combo speaker
For Pack32 was an external Elmwood 4x12" V30 speaker cabinet used

    2) Mic's
    Pack4 = Royer 121 (and some others)
Pack32 = Rode NT1000 (this one seams to be the best for this cabinet)

    3) Different Mike placement

    4) All drive settings in channel 1 are profiled two times.
Neutral (Treble and Presence) at 12:00
    Treble boosted

The first is great for single coil guitars the second one for humbuckers (LesPaul).

Here is a clip - the same amp setting (and my new Gibson LesPauls) first with the new Pack then with the old Pack.
