Unplug the cable on both ends and re-plug in.

Thx for the tipp. But I already tried it without positive effect.
In fact I already tried various things:
0) Checked for dirt.
Here is a look into the connection of the remote:

And here in connection with the Kemper:

1) I swapped the cables. Had tested an official Kemper remote replacement cable and various other network cables. Without any effect. Besides one cable that worked (Kemper to PoE Hub, Remote to PoE Hub) and the other day it stopped working again. What is the status right now.
2) The remote receives power (green light) in the POE hub, but the data lamp (yellow light) does not flash. The Kemper's data lamp flashes.
See this video (black cable - remote, yellow cable - Kemper)

3) Connected directly to the Kemper, the Kemper light does not flash:

When I connect the Kemper to the POE hub, the lamp starts flashing immediately:

4) Kemper Remote to POE injector
See this video: https://photos.app.goo.gl/KAK3shmfiesr6JQp7
As soon as I connect the remote, the light on the POE injector goes out, which is not normal.
Are the two incompatible? Or does the remote create something like a short circuit?
Contact Support after you have checked the more obvious fixes.
If you bypass the POE Hub does it work?
Kemper to Remote with official cable?
Kemper to Remote with your other cables?
If so, at least you'd know it's not the jacks, plugs or cables.

It does not work in any way. Not via PoE Hub nor via Kemper direct.
I used two official cables and three other cables.
In your first video (remote connection) you can see something on the second contact spring from the left which might cause the trouble

Oh yes, I see what You mean.
What is on that contact? I mean in term of "what is it used for"?
BTW, my Kemper can be found on the network. And I can easily use it from Rig manager on the iPad. To me that says that everything is OK on the Profiler side. But the data communication of the Remote seems to have a problem.
I had a beta version installed on my Profiler and Rig Manager. Does the Profiler update a connected Remote, too? But my Remote was working and then, without changing anything "physical" it stopped working.
I had the same problem this past Sunday. I grabbed my iPad and opened the Kemper app and connected to my Kemper network. It worked fine after that.

The Remote had a defect. It produced a short circuit.
