I was in the middle of a session so I didn’t troubleshoot one thing at a time. I went back to recording the Kemper analog through my interface. I’ll see if I can reproduce it when I have more time.
-
Same here. Hope there is a fix for this issue.

Kind of, yes. It's mostly audible with heavy compression or distorted sounds. A constant ticking.
Strangely enough my Kemper behaves today. So suddenly there's no ticking. It seems that there's some interference at my place. I'm not sure why. I did try to use a furman, but that didn't change anything when there was this ticking sound. It's strange.

If you still have ticking noise and you are using a Furman, can we deduct the electric lead is elimintated ?
I've made all the tests asked by the support, but it is asking me to send Kemper for repairing. But before sending it, I would like to be sure the ticking is not due to electric interference
-
To see if it's some interference where you are, take the Kemper to another location and try it there.
-
yes I did, I went in my neighbor's house and the noise was still present.
But I'm not sure the test is sufficient, we have problably the same electric power supply provided by our street -
Is anyone using MIDI, or have MIDI connected/enabled?
-
no, midi in my case
-
As I mentioned before: Today my Kemper doesnt tick. It did for two days.
No MIDI. No USB. I use the ethernet-connection for synchronization.
-
Just eliminating possible culprits.
Has anyone tried the ground lifts?
-
Maybe try some simple tests to isolate it?
Like just a guitar connected to the standard Kemper input. Nothing else connected - no pedals, no USB cables connected, nothing in Aux input, etc. Maybe headphones for output if possible. If not, use the most basic monitor you can.
If you still get a tick, then at least you've ruled out everything else. If you don't put one thing back at a time a check it again until you find the tick comes back.

I've had a similar issue, with no connections the power kabinet ticks at a constant rate. Sent it back to kemper for repair after discussing with them and the repaired unit was fine for a month but has just started making the same noise again. I'm very tempted to just pull out the power amp and find my own to replace it.
