In rig manager I selected "lock all but amp ." The lock symbols pops up on all the effects slots. Then I load an amp that I want to use it loads the amp and new effects. Doesn't make any sense. It used to work fine. I'm using latest official software version. Also lots of glitches in rig manager when copying and pasting. I'll save that for another time. ugh.

Noticed the same with the newest release.
Locking effect slot in RM and then changing to other preset clears the effect selection in RM, but the locking works in KPA side where the effect stays put. -
I noticed it works in browser mode but not performance unless you're using local library in performance mode.

Not the same issue as the OP, but I too am having issues with the lock function, both in Performance and Browse mode. It seems to work fine some of the time, does what I expect, other times it doesn't work at all - that is the locked parameters don't change. Frustrating to need to do this over and over again, or just skip the lock thing and manually change things.
