Best connection into UAD.

    I had a few issues when my kemper was connected last week and did a master reset and it fixed the problem.


    Now I want to connect my kemper to my imac and UAD apollo twin X and start recording. Not interested in s/pdif so analog it is. What is the most effective way to connect it into the interface?


    I have XLR to XLR cables as it is. Just run an XLR to the back of the UAD in the line 1 port?


    I'm a complete newbie to all of this.

    That'll work but ideally you get XLR>TRS cables to not rely so much on the preamps on the twin. But it's also OK to do as you do.
