I have a Godin A6 ultra that only has a neck position humbucker that is a bit dark.
I've thought of getting a Range Master type Treble Booster or a EQ pedal but thought that maybe my Kemper may have a trick to achieve a brighter tone without making the profile sound crappy.

The biggest secret in the Kemper world is to place a Treble Booster post-amp. It will lighten up the most darkest and muddy sounding profile and fit you right in the mix. The guitars volume and tone controls will be very responsive to shaping your tone afterwards. Remember, it was me who saved you.
Other options may be the AMP Defintion, STOMP compressor, or a Graphic EQ as the first stomp.
GEQ would probably be the easiest and it wouldnt ruin the profile for HB guitars.
A humbucker in the neck position is going to sound like a humbucker in the neck position, especially with a unit that is as faithful to the tone coming from the guitar as the PROFILER.
