The price in Canada is $910 for non powered and $1172. Cancelled my old order for non powered v1 and just ordered the powered kab from the Kemper store instead. The difference in price is not as big anymore.

I’d guess the powered model will eventually get the updated speaker and go up in price accordingly.
-
Doesn’t the powered model already have a neo speaker ?
-
From the Kemper website “The acclaimed 2022 TecAward nominated KEMPER Power Kabinet already features that same KEMPER Kone NEO speaker already since day one, making it one of the lightest active cabinet for guitarists.”

I stand corrected.

I didn’t know it had a neo either until the non powered Kabinet v2 release yesterday to be honest
-
Sonofa…… I literally just sourced and bought a v1 Kabinet last week. First gig on Saturday.
-
Bugger it. Gunna take the dive and order direct from Kemper to the UK. They can't give an ETA for UK dealers to have them
-
Well, now I know that my powerkab has the neo already. Always nice such a surprise!

The V1 is still good!!! Its already really light so you are not missing out on much
-
Yikes, just placed an order for the Kab direct... Excited and apprehensive in equal measure.
I guess I just wait for a link to pay the balance now... -
I have the V1.
Looks like it comes with a stand and a dust cover now.
But what is this Kone neo speaker?
I'm guessing it means that the new Kone uses a neomydium magnet? What do the original Kone use?
What's the difference sonically?

I did a search and only came up with Unobtanium.
"For the new build-in KEMPER Kone™ NEO speaker, KEMPER replaced the conventional mag-net with a modern lightweight neodymium magnet, providing the identical magnetic field and identical sound of the „classic“ KEMPER Kabinet."
