As explanation, I'm just tired today but was having fun with a Michael Britt JCM profile so decided to be lazy.
-
Really like your pitching when bending bro'.
-
Thanks Monkey_Man , I must admit incorrect pitch bends have always been a pet peeve of mine so I used to practice them a lot to get them right. Blues obviously has a lot of microtonality to make it sound like the guitar is crying, bends are the easy way to get there but it’s often about the end of the note more than the beginning. I still have difficulty with slide guitar though, at least on my guitars with the low action, sometime I’d like to try a pedal steel.

Same here brother, which is why I appreciate yours.

Great floyd vibe with that hammond , cool track
on my guitars with the low action
I recycled a broken flat wooden pickle tongue for this purpose : use one of the legs : cut a short piece 6 cm , slide to fret 0 under the strings , you have to release a bit the tuners before because of the added tension , retune , works great for me.

Super Floyd-ish indeed. Great atmosphere and sound. Cool
-
Channeling Mr Gilmour all the way!
Really nice guitar playing.
Cheers,

waraba that’s a great idea! I have some spare bits of wood laying around I’ll have to give it a try next time I want that slide sound.
Thanks deadman42 and Mats_Nermark it’s a fun profile for sure, perhaps I should have used the Strat for this rather than the LP with the neck pickup, get a bit more metallic bite in there. I realize more of my noodles are solo adverse, even fewer are blues based, but most of the time when I pick up a guitar I just play a few natural minor licks and stuff like this to warm up or when I’m browsing for tones, normally no-one gets to hear it but me. -
Really smooth soloing. There's just one spot where the drum fill seems to be rushed - I guess that's the "lazy" part.
And all of you are up way too early in the morning for me.

use a really flat one then : 3 to 5 mm is enough
