Could I profile my own guitar from an isolated audio track somehow?
I know I can just listen to the sound and near enough dial the sound in but specifically, could I do this and how?
I get about 2 steps in and then my brain refuses to move any further 😃
Profiling is done in the same setup as recording with an amp, cab and mic.
Having an isolated track of guitar playing has nothing to do with profiling.
You might be thinking of the much inferior and honestly rather pointless tone- matching.
Thanks Don, actually tone matching works OK depending on the material but fair enough re the profiling, it was just a thought.
