The related code hasn't been touched since a while. It works here as expected with OS 8.7.10. I tested with an external switch connected to PEDAL 6 socket of the Remote.
Make sure your cable is ok and the switches need to be momentary and normally open. If your switch has wrong polarity you end up in a mess.

today I turned the kemper back on and everything works ... same setting as yesterday in the live session ... obviously yesterday I tried to unplug and reattach the switches and recalibrate them but they seemed crazy
