New Member, Advice Appreciated On Stage Into Kabinet Sounding Muffled, Line 6 Makes It Sound Better?

Hey everyone, I just got a Kemper and am really pumped to use it at it's peak performance. I'll try to keep it simple to save you time..

K Stage (VH4 ch3 tone with MB cabinet)

Into new Kemper Kabinet (no volume knob)

Output has engaged....

Kemper Kone On

Monitor Cab On

Imprint Celestion V30

The sound is muffled, almost like a preamp direct like tone.

I then turn off monitor cab

I left Kemper Kone on (appears as if in the future I'd turn this off too)

Plug into the Line 6 powercab

Put Line 6 on V30 and bam, tone is alive.

What am I missing?

oh wow, I can't believe myself and the GC sales tech missed this. It's not the powered version, it's missing the volume knob and that was the first sign I noticed and should've asked about. I can't find a way to buy the powered one online after looking for 10 minutes, The Kemper USA store has it for $789, I'll swap for this one.

Got the Kemper powered cabinet, ONLY available from the Kemper store, and all is good. Chicago has a physical location FWIW.

As a side note I also ran the K Stage through my Boss Katana 2 (K1 doesn't have this feature) in the power amp in hole and that was shockingly loud as h*** and a bit brighter but cool to see more options.
