nanoboot: burnFromUSB() error after Rig Manager tried installing 8.7.10

I'm getting this message each time I turn my Profiler on:

nanoboot: burnFromUSB()

ERROR: failure writing file data

I haven't had any luck with the forum suggestions of holding the < and > buttons, having the kaos.bin on a formatted FAT32 USB drive, etc. I even tried having a previous version on the USB (tried different USBs, too) and it doesn't seem to be interested in reading/accessing it.

I imagine others have had this issue and hopefully it got resolved. Any ideas?

Not sure. Rig Manager said I needed two updates so it prompted me for the 7 version then the latest 8 version. At the moment I'm trying 7.3.2 and it looks as if it wants to install, but stalls early in the process and that's that. Any suggestions? I'll go back to 3.whatever and an older RM if it'll just work. Thanks!

Still waiting to hear back from hm today. The latest is when I try to install 7.3.2. At least it doesn't error out, but it gets stuck a few seconds in and doesn't budge from this spot. Here's photo. Thanks for any and all help!
