Is there a place to download the profiles that would come with a Kemper if I bought it tomorrow? I went to downloads and searched (unsuccessfully) for this. I think I have a Pack 8.0 but don't know if that is what is coming with a new Kemper now.

What's the FW update? When I update my profiler, no rigs get downloaded. And I wouldn't want them to. I just want to know where the latest are located.

I think the set of files from the latest factory library are embedded in the OS update and from memory there is a procedure for copying them to your profiler - I haven't done this in years but I think you can put the OS on a thumb drive and use import presets.
All the new packs curated from the professional profilers are there at the bottom of Rig Manager. When Rig Manager gets updated, any new packs are included under "Rig Packs" in folders at the bottom of the folder tree just below "Rig Exchange".

You can recover the whole factory content, when you reset your unit to as-delivered-state. You might want to perform a backup on USB flash drive before.
Or you enter RIg Manager, Rig Packs, Factory Content 8.0 and pick from there.

I wasn't looking for the ones that came in my profiler. I am looking just for the set as if I bought a new Kemper today. I don't want all the packs just that one. is the most recent 8.0?

Yes. The latest OS Version is 8.7 and therefore Factory Content 8.0 includes all profiles, that you would get when you would buy a profiler in a shop.

Nope - the OS update is a compressed archive and you can actually view its contents in some compression tools. It is possible to see the contents and extract them but this level of messing around is not required.
Edit: as KB says below it is the OS update as I said above and not the RM update.

When I update my profiler, it (happily) doesn't add any profiles. I only keep about 30 in mine.
Correct, they get loaded only if you restore.
