Best bet is to just go back to what was working and wait for the official release

Try unplugging and plugging in the USB cable again. Make sure you don't have any options in your Mac or Windows that turns the USB to sleep mode when there is no activity.

here are some questions for you:
- which model is your PROFILER?
- did you actually use 2 different PC's ? or is this on the same Mac running different OS? (or is it a Hackintosch even maybe?)
- could you make a picture of the used USB cable? -

I have the same issue. Which model profiler do you have? Mine is a Stage.

I used 3 computers, (Win 10, Win11 and Mac OS10.15) 5 USB A-B cables and one USB B-C cable.

I have an older hub that is probably 2.0 but it is not marked. I will try it today. Wi-Fi was enabled but I have not been using my iPad during these attempts at running the beta version.

Just checked my Amazon orders and it turns out that old USB hub (from 2014) is USB 3

PROFILER Operating System 9.0.3.45277 Please refer to the Addendum manual included in this update package for detailed descriptions of new features! Rig Manager 3.4.31 for Windows(R)/macOS(R) and Rig Manager 1.3.8 for iOS(R) required! Rig Manager 3.4.31 requires at least Windows(R) 10 or macOS(R) 10.14. All PROFILER Stage units can generally be upgraded in one step. All other PROFILER models running OS 7.3 and higher can be upgraded in one step, too. Check the OS version currently installed on the last page of System Settings. PROFILER Head, Rack, PowerHead and PowerRack models running OS versions before 7.3 need to be upgraded in two steps. First install OS 7.3, then upgrade to OS 8.5. If you need to do this, you can find OS 7.3 on the download page under “Older Software Versions”.
