Any pros on this forum have advice/opinions on this? I have done some test recordings without stereo effects (only mild reverb) using mono-left out, mono-right out, stereo left-right out and monitor out and frankly could not hear any difference between them. So for me I guess it does not matter very much which KPA output I use. In the absence of stereo effects which KPA output would you use and why?
Which KPA output best for recording?

Why not spdif?

Why not spdif?
I don't have spidf on my preamp. Is spidf noteceably better? -
1 D/A conversion less, I also use Stereo XLR in to my mixer and works fine, I've tried it with spdif and could not notice the difference. Obviously if you are in to re-amping spdif is a better choice.

The latency also is supposed to be less with spdif, due to the -1 D/A conversion. (Not that I have any noticeable with the stereo outs, I haven't noticed any differences)

i hear no difference between audio and sdif outputs.

Conversion for analog outs is very good. Since Kemper runs at 44.2 and I mostly work at 48 I use ths main outs and run into a nice preamp. Sounds great to me. Just If your sound card or other device has crappy converters, with the digital out from Kemper you won't have further degradation
