Bass Profiles Ampeg/Markbass

  • I'd rather stick with Adobe, but I downloaded winrar and finally got the files.
These bass profiles are GREAT
Big thanks to Andy for all the work and help.
I'll seriously be considering Trainwreck and some others .
    Highly recomended.

I may be way behind on technology, but I don't believe that Adobe has anything to do with file "zipping"/archiving products? :S

I never even got off the starting line, that's why I have trouble w this stuff.
I don't have any prob. downloading from the rigs though, no need to unzip anything.

  • Ok, then, I'm not losing it. :)

FYI, you actually DID "unzip" the file archive. WINRAR is a file compression scheme that is a competitor to WinZip. The ".rar" file are compressed and must be "unziped" in order to gain access to the individual files. That's why you couldn't use them initially (you didn't have WINRAR to enable you to uncompress them). "Zip" and "UnZip" have become generic terms to convey compressing and de-compressing individual and/or groups of files. :)
