I just found this video on youtube that shows the internals of the KPA. The most interesting part for me is that the processor, ram and flash memory are in a swappable board (like a computer ram module). I don't know the intention behind it (maybe it is only for easy repairs) but Kemper theoretically could at any point release in the future cheap hardware upgrades for its unit without us having to purchase a whole new unit.
