My main pickups are Lundgren M6 and M8 though I have EMG and Blackouts in other guitars.
Lundgrens work great with the KPA!

Recently added a new custom guitar with:
1) Seymour Duncan Alternative 8's
2) Gibson Burstbuckers (1 me thinks)
Talk about Balls to the Walls. Kind of starts in Metal land and dials back to AC/DC around volume level 2. It's the magnets. But then again, I'm using Ernie Ball Slinky Cobalt which are also more magnetic so that a bump up too.
Makes my SG sound like a lad. A well meaning boy tho. Think I'll gift it to me brother.
Emg 81/85, clean sense at -12 on 2.3.1, dist sense at 0.
I use single coil as much as possible. The only reason I would use a humbucker is when it's the best fit for a cover song my band plays. (Bon Jovi, Bad Company, etc.)
Otherwise, I'm all about single coils! They allow more of the player's personality to come through. Humbuckers are too compressed sounding.
I use Seymour Duncan SSL-1 and SSL-5 single coils. I don't mess with Clean and Distortion settings....I have no idea how to use them or what they do.

With which rigs (distorted and clean ones) do you adjust the clean/dist sense parameter? Any preferred rigs? Perceived loudness between different clean and dist rigs IMO depend on many other factors too, cab volume etc.
Which rigs would you recommend for that (factory rigs, rigs from exchange?)
I use 2 american strats. One with Lindy Fralin SC pickups which are more traditional strat sounding pickups, and the other with Kinman noisless single coils.
They both sound great through my rigs; however, not all rigs sound good with SC pickups.
Guitars I use most are Ibanez S-09LTD and S-670FM. They're equiped with DImarzio's, Air Norton in neck, FS-1 in middle, Breed in bridge.

Hey OneEng,
Sonically speaking, how do your Kinmans differ from your Lindys?

With my Bill Lawrence L400 HB I have to set CS to -4.5 dB to see no more that a shadow of yellow when I strum hard with the bridge PU.
