sorry if this has been brought up before, & i have searched & read till my eyes hurt, i am thinking of purch the mag 44, i will be running thru 4x12 cab, will it have enough power & headroom to use without getting into breakup( the mag 44) ? i am hoping some one has used this setup, & will post, i play loud R&R with a loud drummer & 2 other guitarist= hard rock/ southern rock/classic rock.. but also play a couple of CLEAN songs (thats another concern for the head room) i have a crate powerblock that i purchase new a few years ago, but it wont run out of both outputs, so if the 44 mag will work, i would probably end up getting 2 of them ( small & portable) please let me know , thanks roger

The Powerblock can "run out of both outputs" (Left and Right).
Connect the Kemper to the red and white "CD In"
or
Connect the Kemper to the Left and Right "Line In" .

To be honest I don't think Magnum 44 will cut it with a loud drummer and 2 other guitar players. I'd save your money and find another solution. There is a review of the EHX Mag 44 at Musician's Friend from someone who tied it with a KPA (not a positive review). The comment was that it has no headroom.

Try this:
From Master Out Left and Right of the Kemper:
MASTER OUTPUT
------------------LEFT--------RIGHT

I use the crate setup with a cabinet. I have the monitor out connected to the line in and then setup my Kemper to use the master volume knob to control the monitor volume. You could also run the mains into the line in using a y cable. The left...right...mono connections are speaker outputs as the crate can run in stereo. Let me know if this makes sense. I can send you some pictures if you pm your email.

I've tried the Magnum 44 with the KPA a few times in music stores.
Yes, it works, sounds very good as the cheapest possible lowish volume solution.
But, why not wait for the Kemper poweramp or buy the built in poweramp that's currently available. -
Looks like your powerblock is brocken, take it in for repair.

The BRIDGE /MONO switch must be disengaged (out position)
F...k, I forgot that the Powerblock has that, over 10 years since I had one....Powering a Pod at that time....

thanks, i'm just trying to use what i have currently ( but was thinking of 2 x 44 magnums,oh well), i have tons of gear, just dont want to lug bulky heavy stuff around anymore (bad back & rt knee), in fact i have identicle amps at my shop & at the drummers jam room CARVIN V3 's W 4x12 cabs, because i dont like to move gear anymore, & as far as waiting, i'm getting tired of it(not very patient, only thing i want from KPA is F/C..

i'm afraid you are correct, it isn't worth having repaired, must have been bad from the start , i purch new, just never tried the rt channel till now

For lower volume needs at home or small gigs the EHX Magnum 44 power amp pedal seems like a great option with enough clean headroom.
Here is a youtube video I found with a pod hd500 and the 44 used through a passive 1x12 cab playing a small gig with clean sounds and full band and it cuts through the mix without a mic.
They posted the gear used in the video text info.GIBSON VOS R9
