Hi folks!
I'm Frank from Germany - Hamburg.
Kemper owner since last week.
The first 39 Years of my live where without the Kemper - oh God!
I'm probably the typical homerecording guy, who loves to figure out own ideas and record them onto file.
Some engagement in amateur bands in the past - but never professional.
In my day time job - my favority phrase from Dire Straits lyrics - I'm doing allright - I'm a
physicist and a in this part i have the deepest respect for the concept that was set up by Christoph Kemper!
The step from the Line6 or Vox Tonelab to the Kemper is for me as if someone took the blanket away from the
"virtual amps". The best characterization is - in my words and ears - that the Kemper sounds are fresh, open and
natural! No muffle, no artificial buzz.
Don't get me wrong - Tonelab EX and HD500 will stay a part of my equipment - last but not least for convenience -- you can get
reasonable sounds from these things in the different situations ---
But the sounds the Kemper offer, and I admit, I installed allready some profiles from The amp factory [to be honest it was approx. 700 profiles ] these sounds are a new deal!!
It's a good feeling to be for the first time able to play professional sounds without compromise!
After this short time of owning a Kemper I feel a little bit adicted - Reveling in the variety of sounds gave me something like a hangover --- I feel I have to go a little bit on diet - just with a Tele and a Princeton - or even more with an acoustic guitar.
But thats my fault! The Kemper is great thing! And the Amp factory profiles are a realy fine upgrade.
Is there some from Hamburg out there?
Regards,
Frank
