Thanks, Burkhard.
I see the poweramp only weighs 1.18 kg...that's amazing.
Any photos of the poweramp on it's own?

Burkhard, do you already have an idea about the turnaround time for retrofitting our profilers?

No, unfortunately not. A colleague is designing that process - work in progress. Obviously we will need to manage the queue in a way, that Profilers don't pile up on the work bench, while their owners are waiting.
-
I understand, thank you!
Can't we build up a waiting list like ...... cough cough ?
-
NO!! We didn't buy a FAS product. Sorry for that.
-
If we buy just the rack now but decide to get the power amp later: What is the price for just the power amp?
-
This poweramp Kemper has included in Powerrack - what to expect ?
Dunno if i go for this or buy a Matrix GT1000FX

Not sure if the rack can be retrofitted as well, with all the connections is not much space left for a slot like in the head....

1.18 kg? Man that must be lightweight record for a poweramp;) Will be interesting 2 compare the PowerRack itself, n´then run the preamp into my Peavey poweramp thru my cabz. AND I´m beyond curious 2 clone my own rig, Peavey JSX 100 all tube + Marshall 4#12 cabz. That´s the first thing I´m gonna do when I get my Kemper

question here: so, how's the routing in those powered kpas? so far we had master out, monitor out and headphone out. ist the "speaker out" somewhat independent or is it a hard copy of the monitor out? let's say i want to run the speaker out to a backline 4x12 cab to provide some classic vibe and have a stand for beer & kpa - so cab sim OFF, eq for room & cab adjustments. the monitor out is what i want to hear on my powered wedge, so cab sim ON, seperate eq for room adjustment, the master out finally feeds FOH with whatever eq to please the soundguy. and for the heck of it the drummer gets the headphone mix... i know, in a perfect world with dedicated eq...
possible or wishful thinking?
and btw: not that it would have some immense impact, but i liked the fact that the "non poweramped" lunchbox had worldwide mains compatibility, whereas the new "poweramped" versions seem to suffer the 110 vs 220 volts dilemma... i assume this would also be the case for updated originals??
thanks.

The poweramp Version also supports worldwide voltage levels (110V & 230V).

But there are 2 versions: PowerHead/PowerRack: 100-125 or 190-245V max. 10 A

Can the powered head be used without connecting a speaker cabinet (for recording, and listening through studio monitoers?) Or, does a speaker always have to be connected to the output of the power amp?
-
No problem. Unlike tube amps' output transformers, SS amps do not need to be loaded with a cab. You can safely keep cab(s) disconnected.

Thanks!
