Booster in the Chain of Signal

  • Ok, I've got enough of trying out rigs and deciding what should stay or go. It is about time to develop a setup that will work in band room and at the upcoming gigs.
I'm not a pro but I want pro sound! 8o
One of my favorite rigs are the Mar-Bluesbreak Clean and Crunch.
So I got this clean rig on midi bank 00 and position 1 and the crunch on position 2 of the FCB1010, both I like to boost with lets say button 6 on the FCB 1010. Were is the advised position in the chain of signal? D or after the stack on X. The goal is to have one standard BOOST switch - easy to hit even in the "heat of the moment". Of course I can switch the MIDI assignment, but to be honest I'd rather do not mess with the MIDI setup that is working right now. In my old configuration I had the Guitar > Tuner > Twin Sonic > Treble Booster > Echo and Reverb and so on. I can't experiment with volume settings because I'm in an apartment at the moment.
I'll appreciate your advise on this topic.

    Thank you
