Editor pétition.

Those two guy who provide the most commercial profiles. Just visit their websites and browse a little.
You'll quickly see that the term (and images of) "Marshall" is already in the process of disappearing. Fender as well on one of these websites. There's something going on.

Just checked it and yeah your right all Marshall pictures are missing on one of the sites and the other has changed them to British and American . This used to drive me insane when I was a line 6 person scrolling through presets and trying to translate what they actually were. Obviously these amp manufactures are scared of this great piece of kit and what competition it will bring :)

  • are there actually any new official infos on what's going on with the editor? maybe someone from the kemper staff could tell us sth?

nope, but then again, its what... only a year? Or even more?
I mean its not that this is the most wanted feature.

Don't get me wrong, love the kemper, but there software support is so bad. It makes me want to by a axe. (and now gone again before the fan boys tear me a new one again ;))

I mean just some sort of confirmation or denial that they are working on it would be cool. I don't even care if it's coming out soon or not, I'd just love to hear from someone (hello kemper staff) if it's happening at all.

  • I'm beginning to think there are 2 major reasons there is no editor
    1. You just don't care enough to make one.
    2. It is far too difficult to do.
How many revisions has your major rival had to their editing software.
Please Kemper, let us know definitively: Stop stringing us along

  • The K-team has already confirmed that they are busy working on some kind of librarian/file manager, though they've never committed to an editor. The Virus family has a very nice one, so I believe that at a certain point in time we will see one. Also consider that at the moment the KPA is a dynamic platform, evolving at every new FW release: having to follow that also on the editor side for every beta would just increase the chances of bugs...IMHO

  • This editor will probably be available once a proper driver is done ( for mac , PC ... ) I guess this is the longest part of the process ...

There is a job offer for an embedded linux specialist on the Kemper site, hopefully he will accelerate the driver/editor development ???

Should´nt be too big problem giving us a nice working editor. And if it´s a bigger problem, it still has to be done, from my sight. Handling many profiles can be a pain in the ass, I really hate it, giving names letter by letter, sign by sign. Why not using USB port for instant connection, or what ever possible? To me the lack of some software and better editing the profiles is the only minus the Toaster got. I still love it, ..... but sometimes I hate it! :D:D:D:D .....
