Yes, I wish any rigs from this holy grail. I didn't found any rigs from this amp. Why?
Extremely rarely?Hm, I'm pretty sure I have seen a profile of a Vibroverb on my Kemper. I'm not in front of my unit right now but will check when I get back in my studio later today.

Hi,
I'm searching only for a 1963er vibroverb.
Thanks. Look here:

I hear you, you are looking for the brownface version that was only built in '63. After that they went blackface with a different circuit and if I'm not mistaken the Blackface version didn't last very long either.
I have never seen one in person as they are so rare. Over here in Germany they only existed as a myth. Everybody was talking about how great these amps were but nobody actually got anywhere near to one
But since the circuit was identical to a Vibrolux (and we do have some great profiles of that amp) you might get away with that if you change the cab to a 2x10" (I think we also have several Fender-style 2x10" either).
I'll take a look at what I have on my Kemper and if I really have a brownface Vibroverb or not.
In case I don't have it, you can ask Andy44 if he is able to get his hands on one and doing a profile for you.

... for us, I'd like to add.
And yes, the 1963 Vibrolux of the Vintage & Rare Collection is one of the top profiles made so far. -

+1000, It sounds fantastic with any guitar...
-
I looked it up now and I have indeed a Vibroverb - it's even one of my favourite profiles - but it's a '64 unfortunately. This profile was done by Alexis Boyer and is one of my favorites for slightly dirty clean (with the gain backed down).
So our only option is Andy44. I'm sure if anybody will get his hands on one and take a profile, it's Andy.
A N D Y - are you listening?

There is a Virbolux in the V&R thats really nice, not a brown-face, but they are hard to get hold off, and in fact never actually played one personally to comment. - and Ive tried millions of old fenders over the years. - People talk the talk, but its one of those mystery ones!. and although I can always try to get. chances might be slim for that.
Closest is the one in the V&R Pack though, cant remember if thats a 63 or 64 (will have to check later when back) I think thats in the same ballpark, bt the caps, and gain stage is/will/maybe be a bit different. like the silverface/blackface comparison. not sure. -
The V&R one is a '63
-
Yeah, we don't have many brownfaces for the Kemper, that is one of the very few areas where the KPA is lacking a bit.
I personally would love to have a Brownface Deluxe as I used to have one (a '62) and it was a mighty fine amp with a nice sound right between tweed and blackface. Liked it much better than the blackface Deluxe. I also played a brownface Vibrolux once (couldn't afford to buy it though) and that one was very nice as well (early Dire Straits all over). I wish we would have more brownfaces.
But at least we have your blonde Bassman and also your Showman profiles from the latest pack which both qualify as a brownfaces
-
The V&R one is a '63
Yeah, it's a '63. And because of the year I always thought this one was a brownface. So they did blackfaces in '63?? Oh well, Fender product history is sometimes really over my head
-
Armin has a '52 Deluxe that's very nice.

Yeah, but that's a tweed and a completely different animal. A tweed Deluxe isn't remotely close to a brownface. And blackfaces are different from both. Tweed Fenders tend to get farty in the low end when pushed (with the exception of the Bassman), that's one of the main reasons for the development of the brown- and blackface line. Leo hated the sound of the farty distortion. Actually he hated distortion alltogether
I have Armins Deluxe profiles and they are nice indeed for what they are: A Tweed Deluxe. But they are not at all similar to a brownface Deluxe.

The 1963 Vibrolux from Vintage & Rare Collection is advertised as a brownface but the pictures on Facebook are a little bit confusing.
Two of them look like brownface

Thanks for the info. I wouldn't have a clue about the tonal differences among the various Fender Deluxe versions ...

Today Andy (Ampfactory) told me, there is no brown face at the vintage&rare collection. I. It is a 64er vibrolux (blackface).
But I'm looking for a 1963er vibroverb brown face.
Gregor Hilden is playing with this wonderful amp on youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/user/GregsGuitars#p/u/47/nYc9eObLcc4There is a very good article from Udo Pipper about the holy grail 1963 fender vibroverb and reissue 2 in den german journal Gitarre&Bass (edition february and march 2013 ).
According to this there are over 500 exemplars of the brownface vibroverb all over the world.
Mark Knopfler is playing a brown face vibroverb. -
Yeah, Gregor is a great guitar player and a really nice guy as well.
And he's been playing my Gibson Les Paul on his Vibroverb.External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. Beautifull Custom! The Okko Diablo is also part of that tone, though. One of the best OD on the market.
Edit: Andy's V&R is a '63 Vibrolux, not '64

Look an this message from andy:
"...I don't have a Brownface one, but I have a year older 64 Virblux, thats pretty much the same ballpark..."
