Blackface clip. Used a high output bridge bucker for it.

Nice...try the ZO DI Ak crunch....
Holy crap! That sounds great!!!
What profile is that? Care to share your setting?
Is that a Les Paul?
Check profiles from CSGBAND- I may have used his BR deluxe profile. Thats a good fender profile for this type of stuff.
Used my EBMM Axis
I like that tone - I've done some side gigs with a humbucker guitar and an old Deluxe. I immediately thought of "Shooting Star" by Bad Company when I heard that sound.
Really sweet tones. Humbuckers, huh? I generally prefer SC PUPs with Fender amps, but that sounded sweet!

Wouldn't have imagined HB's, too. Sounds great!
Add another to the thought it was single coil camp, real nice.

If it's CSGBAND profile it's actually a brownface Deluxe (from '62 if memory serves me right). Different animal and probably closer to a Marshall sound when cranked than any other Fender. I used to have one years ago and that profile actually got me hooked on the KPA. I was searching for a brown Deluxe again as I missed it and came across that profile and learned about the KPA.
Anyway, it sounds much different from a blackface with it's scooped mids and that's probably why it works well with humbucker guitars. The original amp used to work very well with my Les Paul either.
