here's a neat setting to give profiles a nice, fat boost:
Studio EQ
- Gain +6dB
- Freq 500Hz
- 0,919Q
- Volume +2,5

Thanks Don. I used that with my clean JTM30 profile. I replaced a 5db boost with this (also at 5db) in the D stomp. Gives it a bit more meat.
I,m guessing it,ll work well w Strats, when playing Clapton style, as it seems like a mild version of his sig. Git.
Just tried it on a high gain lead patch. The effect is subtle but nice
thank you, this is what I was missing in many of my marshallrigs. played my old LP standard through my qsc k10 for 2 hours now...this one stays locked

cool, that's what I was going for!

right, the higher the gain the less noticeable the effect.

sweet!
Thanks for posting - one of my strats has a Clapton boost in it, but the other two don't. But, now they can, without solder

Hi'
I'm not quite sure how to do this:
When I look at the Studio Equalizer I see many settings (4 pages):
Low Gain, Low Freq, High Gain, High Freq, Mid1 Gain, Mid1 Freq, Mid1 Q-factor, Mid2 Gain, Mid2 Freq, Mid2 Q-factor, mix, ducking, volume
If I set Low Gain = 0, High Gain = 0, Mid1 Gain = 6db, Mid1 Freq = 500Hz, Mid1 Q = 0,919, Mid2 Gain = 0, Volume = +2,5
Would that be correct ?

Yes, I think that's what Don dialed in.

yes, use either the Mid1 or Mid2 band - it makes no difference.

yup. sounds great on my hot rodded start.
One of my favorit eq setting if the guitars tone it,s a little bit weak.
It,s working on almost every gear.
Good job DonPetersen.
you might also want to try this with the Freq set ~750Hz for a little more upper midrage bite.
Cool, thanks, will try it out
