Hey Raoul, I'm not sure which harmony part you mean in the song?
During the guitar solo, it is a delay effect that generates the harmony effect. Try quarter note regeneration with 1 repeat.
I believe the song in in the Key of D (A Mixolydian), but it switches keys during the guitar solo to C# minor (E major)
Let me know if you need more info...

Hi Yarzo
Thanks it's the delay part in the solo that I was thinking might have had some harmony in. Vai's guitar sound always sounds so smooth and full does he use an eventide with that famous Eventide effect that people talk about. Any chance you know how to get that with the kemper
Thanks for your help so far

Try that 1/4 note delay - the way he is moving through the scale, the delayed note harmonizes with the played note.

You're welcome - There are several Pitch effect threads about ideas for using them, and several Rigs on the exchange to help you get started.
