Hi,
for a gig tomorrow I need the sound for Sweet Home Alabama (the good old one) on my kemper.
Do you have any experience which profile is the best for this song. (rythm and solo part).
Thanks for your helping.

As an exception they didn't use the Peavey Mace for that record. Ed was using a Twin for both parts (cranked full for the solo, must have been in another room if he survived! ).
Guitar was obviously a strat.
This was before their longstanding Peavey endorsement.
If you ever do "Freebird", intelligent pitch is your friend
If you don't find a Twin with some dirt, use a Deluxe.
Advice from a Southerner:
Nearly any of the classic Fender amps will get you close. A dirty Twin with a Strat on Bridge/Middle pickup position and volume backed down to 5 or 6 to clean it up works well. Dial in some extra sparkle (treble, presence) so the solo sounds glassy. The highs roll off when you run the Strat volume less yhan 10. A Bassman gets you close enough. A mild compressor helps with the clean tone. Go to 10 on guitar volume for the solo.
